America’s Favorite Gourmet Popcorn began as a team and a dream in May of 2012, when the original owner and his wife decided to follow their hearts and begin a popcorn truck in D.C. They were popcorn lovers and fans of D.C.’s thriving food truck scene and imagined a world where there was combination of both. They began with a retail location in Alexandria, VA where the Gourmet Popcorn is still produced today. Then the America’s Favorite Gourmet Popcorn food truck made its way down the 14th Street Bridge in Washington, D.C. shortly thereafter and as the popcorn craze begins to grow, it is believed America’s Favorite Gourmet Popcorn was the first of its kind in the Northern Virginia area.
