Ástrík Gourmet Poppkorn

Óstöðvandi áhugi á mat og tilraunaeldamennsku varð þess að fyrirtækið Ástrík poppkorn varð til.
Fyrstu skammtarnir af karamellupoppi voru búnir til í heimilispottunum á eldavélinni heima, og hófst svo framleiðslan að alvöru í matarsmiðju Matís. Nú erum við með okkar eigin verksmiðju að Suðurlandsbraut 4a.

Við höfum haldið uppskriftinni okkar eins frá upphafi og notum sömu góðu hráefnin sem við byrjuðum að vinna með. Framleiðslan krefst mikillar nákvæmni og vandvirkni en það teljum við einmitt vera lykilinn að velgengni okkar.

Unstoppable interest in food and experimental breeding led to the creation of the company Astrík popcorn. The first batches of caramel popcorn were made in the home pots of the stove at home, and then production began in earnest in Matis’s food factory. Now we have our own factory at Suðurlandsbraut 4a.

We have kept our recipe the same way from the beginning and use the same good ingredients we started to work with. Production requires a great deal of precision and meticulousness, which we believe to be the key to our success.
